The Oil Mill Creek is one of several tributary kills to the Hudson River, flowing down Oil Mill Hill.

Sold to the Village.

James Boyle has sold his rights to the water in Oil Mill creek to the village of Lansingburgh for $1,500, and also relinquished all claim against the village on account of the use of the water heretofore.
